很久之前先吸引我的其實是Adam Levine 唱的 "Lost Stars"(殞落星辰)
但是後來被迷上的卻是"A Step You Can't Take Back"(無法重來的決定)

我覺得這首歌才是貫穿電影的核心

以下有點劇透,是雷別踩了

當一個傷心透頂,失去一切,連音樂的一開始吉他唐突擦弦
旁人不在意也未曾停止的聊天聲,混和著餐盤敲擊...進食中的吵雜噪音

全世界只剩自己的孤單,特別的孤立,被更加地放大

女孩跟僅有的吉他在聚光燈下,唱著即將放棄一切,包括放棄夢想

你僅有的世界,只剩沉重壓在肩上的袋子

也不必向上帝禱告了,因為他從不回應你的

證明在放棄之前,她是多麼地抱著希望掙扎著
也證明失去所有希望的她,已經無力跟現實繼續拉扯

(老實說,全然是放棄一切的歌詞
她用音樂告訴你,她要放棄一切了,向現實跟迎面而來的不停打擊,感到深深的戰敗無力感)

因為她也失去了長久以來支撐著她/給她力量的戀人...

歌詞很少,總重複那幾句
但是故事性非常強

雖然後來女孩回過神,依然在酒吧,依然杯盤狼籍
鼓掌走向自己的除了拱自己上台的朋友外,舞台前,卻多了一個同樣人生慘敗的音樂製作人

後來,抽回思緒,回神現實的你在地鐵月台邊
依然擁有著你僅有的世界在身邊

最後一句"With your world in a bag by your side"
我倒覺得是帶有"沉甸甸壓著肩的的袋子是身邊僅存的真實"
也是這個壓力擋下了跨出月台邊的想法吧

而袋子裡面裝的是什麼呢?

女孩的手寫歌詞嗎?
還是裝著家人/朋友電話的手機?

是什麼會是你隨身帶著的?
